COURSE DESCRIPTION
The program (Post Graduate Diploma of Pharmaceutical Analysis) provides specific pharmaceutical analysis, product formulation and manufacturing, microbiology and toxicology. The practical training provides the students with "hands on" experience necessary to perform assays and determinations with the required speed, precision, and accuracy expected in the pharmaceutical industry.

OBJECTIVE
Graduates may find employment in research and development, quality control/quality assurance, manufacturing or technical sales areas of the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries, as well as in teaching or research laboratories of colleges, universities, hospitals and government institutes.

They will be able to perform the following major tasks
Set up, conduct, and analyze chemical experiments, tests and sampling tests for quality control.
Operate/maintain laboratory equipment, compile records, and interpret analytical results.
Perform environmental testing, assessments, and may develop or ensure compliance standards are met.
Assist in setting up and conducting chemical experiments/tests.
Operate/maintain laboratory equipment and compile
Participate in the research, development, and manufacture of drug products
Text new drug products; co-ordinate clinical investigations of new drug products
Control the quality of drug products during production to make sure that they meet standards of potency, purity, uniformity, stability, and safety;
Evaluate the labeling, packaging, and advertising of drug products.

ADMISSION REQUIRMENTS
College Diploma and or University Degree
At least one year working experience
