COURSE DESCRIPTION
The program (Diploma of Software Development) will provide students strong fundamentals, concepts, techniques and skills of Information Technologies and direct them into a proficient IT developer career. The program employs sound approaches to program design and implementation, with the skills needed by the IT industry now and the ability to adapt to future development.

OBJECTIVE
Students enrolled in this diploma program will have acquired extensive programming experience, after the completion of the various program modules, in languages such as C, C++, MS .NET, Visual C++, JAVA as well as databases with Access,  SQL and Oracle on a Windows/UNIX platforms. Students are also taught generic state-of-the-art programming techniques like Service-Oriented (SOP), relational database management (RDBMS) as well as software engineering concepts. The course also exposes students to the latest technology for Internet navigation / integration / research.
